Hello, hello!
Still hanging in there?
I hope so, because there are so many unread books depending on you right now you can’t possibly dissapoint them! The reading-mania must go on, with or without this mania from outside! 😜
In April – wait for it – I’ve managed to read 7 books that I enjoyed (more or less) and – waaait for it – I’ve also managed to meet my goal! I read all three books I hoped I would: A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas, The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson and Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco.
Apart from that I read If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio, The Raven and the Dove by Kaitlyn Davis and a cute little book of Nordic Tales that I absolutely adored!
I also listen to an Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows audiobook narrated by none other than Stephen Fry and I absolutely loved it!
For this May, I was thinking of trying to read at least two books because, well, life gets in my way and I cannot avoid responsability anymore; this month is going to be a crazy one for me. But two books? Hm, that’s reasonable.
So there they are:

Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson
Why do I want to read this book:
- A friend of mine recommended this book to me;
- This cover is absolutely stunning;
- It has the word “sorcery” in its title so, duh, of course I need to read that because I’m obsessed with things like that;
- The synopsis sounds so good and it just intrigued me because it simply exudes some Harry Potter vibes;
- A book about magic, demons and libraries?? Er, hello?? I need it?? Like, for real, a book about one’s love and care for books and libraries, just sign me up for this already!
- I don’t know if I mentioned this but THE COVER IS STUNNING.

Evermore (Everless #2) by Sara Holland
Why do I want to read this book:
- Some time ago, I’ve managed to read the first book of the duology, Everless;
- Even though I wasn’t exactly the biggest fan of the first book, I still want to read this one;
- There is something fairly interesting about the concept of this but I am still not convinced by it;
- I do believe that this is going to get better;
- I cannot leave this story unfinished, Mamma raised no quitter, so this is now or never;
- I simply remembered about its existence a few weeks ago LOL, and because I already bought it, I must read it because if I don’t then I might feel guilty for throwing money out the window; so, Everless sequel, here I came.
Okay, with that being said, I hope everyone is going to have an amazing month full of amazing books! Keep the reading going people!
